BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited, London, U.K., has notified us in the name and on behalf of below mentioned companies pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG on 09 December 2014 the following: 

The voting rights of BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A. in Deutsche Lufthansa AG fell below the threshold of 3% on 05 December 2014 and amounted to 2.96% (13,696,372 voting rights) as per this date. Of these voting rights, 1.76% (8,151,959 voting rights) are to be attributed to it pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG, 0.04% (169,176 voting rights) pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG  and 1.27% (5,870,430 voting rights) pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG. Please note that the total amount stated above does not necessarily equal the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This results from voting rights having multiple attributions within the BlackRock group structure. 

The voting rights of BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, NY, U.S.A. in Deutsche Lufthansa AG fell below the threshold of 3% on 05 December 2014 and amounted to 2.95% (13,650,323 voting rights) as per this date. Of these voting rights, 1.76% (8,151,959 voting rights) are to be attributed to it pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG, 0.04% (169,176 voting rights) pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 2 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG and 1.26% (5,824,381 voting rights) pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
