The 71th Annual General Meeting of Deutsche Lufthansa AG started on time at 10:00 p.m. today. Up to 40,000 shareholders registered for the Annual General Meeting.

During the Annual General Meeting, shareholders can speak through live video contributions in which they may ask questions about the agenda.

A total of eight agenda items will be put to the vote at the 71th Annual General Meeting. The items on the agenda include the appropriation of balance sheet profits. A dividend of EUR 0.30 per share will be proposed. This corresponds to a payout ratio of 21percent of Group net profits and a dividend yield of over four percent on the current Lufthansa share price. The aim is for shareholders to participate in the company's success again for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic.

Other items on the agenda include the election Supervisory Board members and the cancellation and creation of new Authorized Capital A.
